2013 Railfan Photo Shoot at Southampton station

On Saturday June 22, 2013, the Southampton Railroad Station Society hosted an evening photo shoot of Southampton Station for local residents, members, railfans and professional/hobbyist photographers. The event was held to raise sustaining funds for the Society and provide a social event for members and supporters at the station.

The Society extends its thanks to the volunteers who helped setup the event and provide the lighting to make this event possible. The Society is thankful for the generous support from the public. In addition to raising funds in support of Southampton station, this event highlighted the heritage of Upper Southampton Township, brought out by the many township residents who stopped by to share their memories of riding the train from Southampton to Reading Terminal.
